Under the leadership of a regional Market Leader the incumbent will work with other members of BMO Private Wealth Canada in support of High and Ultra High Net Worth clients.

The incumbent will be accountable to source new clients, build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, grow share of wallet and make appropriate referrals to other BMO partners.


The incumbent must have a track record of:

delivering strong self generated business results, collaboration with partners and colleagues, providing exceptional client service, and delivering robust investment management and related wealth management services to their clients.


The individual's accountabilities will include:

_ Business Development_: Effectively acquire new clients in support of ongoing business growth, as well as identifying new business opportunities from existing clients. Continuously look for ways to enhance the Firm's presence in the marketplace by creating innovative business development strategies and for developing highly profitable new business leads through extensive internal and external networks.

Deliver on business development, revenue, referral, retention targets and compliance requirements:

Relationship Management:

_ Be accountable and responsible for contributing to the regional business plan by effectively gathering and growing assets under management by providing a high level of service experience for clients and collaborates well with internal and external partners to promote customer retention and advocacy.

Oversees the completion of client service tasks including maintaining relationships with internal partners and support groups and identifies client needs for specialized financial, tax, estate and succession planning expertise and collaborates with internal and external resources to ensure the clients' interests are prioritized:

_ Investment Management, Financial Planning, Estate &

Trust Services:

_ Participates in the creation and implementation of financial planning strategies to help clients achieve their financial and personal goals.

Provides expert level investment management support for clients and peers and is able to communicate BMO Private Wealth Canada investment strategies to potential clients and prospects.

Provides above average knowledge and understanding of Financial, Tax and Estate Planning principles to each client's personal financial situation if required:

Provides insight and shares expertise with team members in regards to investing, financial planning and on non traditional financial instruments.

_ Qualifications:
_


_ Educational and Professional Experience__:
_**- Post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience;

  • Typically between 6 years of relevant experience ;
  • Holds the CFA designation (preferred) or CIM designation;
  • Holds a recognized Financial Planning designation (preferred);
  • Is currently registered as an
    Advising Representative in the jurisdiction of operation.
  • If not currently registered, has met applicable relevant investment management experience (RIME) standards to permit immediate unrestricted registration.

  • Indepth / expert experience in discretionary money management for High Net Worth Individuals (HNW).
  • Indepth / expert business development experience with successful track record.
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
