Algo Communication Products Ltd. is an innovative company developing and manufacturing unique products primarily for the business telephone industry.

We are looking for a talented, energetic individual with a dedication to quality to join our team in Burnaby, B.C.

As Electro Mechanical Technician you will build, test and package product in our production facility.

Responsibilities:

Follow detailed assembly procedures and instructions (both paper and digital format) while performing assigned tasks in compliance with quality workmanship and industry standards.
Use hand tools and power tools such as screw drivers, torque drivers, wire strippers and crimping tools to prepare and assemble electronic/ electrical box builds.
Report problems and rejections of firstoff product and other issues to Production Manager for correction.
Maintain a clean and wellorganized work area.
Observe all safety procedures and precautions.
Contributing your expertise to help solve design and assembly problems, and to help develop and improve assembly techniques and documentation
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in electromechanical disciplines is preferrable.
2 + years of Electronic Manufacturing and repair experience.
Testing and inspection of PCBs is an asset.
Experience in ESD procedures and Lean principles.
Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Excellent vision.
Ability to use small hand tools.
Fluency in speaking and reading English.
Able to follow Employee Policy document and all safety standards.
Willingness to participate in decision making, supporting the team and continuous improvement.
Perform other duties as required
