Operations Coordinator

**Description: - Permanent Full Time- This administrative role within Canada Life ensures all regular daily office functions are accomplished, while supporting our valued clients and Financial Centre Advisors. This position works within a team of administrative professionals and reports to the Regional Sales Support Manager.
_This position is in Mississauga and the incumbent will be required to execute it on-site, 5 days/week_

What you will do:


  • Support the greater team/office with daytoday sales support and operations functions
  • Provides administrative support to local team, including general office and premise responsibilities
  • Provides mail, fax & courier support to office, along with general office oversight (MFD, supplies, troubleshooting, etc.)
  • Support the onboarding & termination process for staff and advisors (keys, badges, Security Access Requests (SARs), setup, troubleshooting, desks)
  • General business support (forms, inquiries, find an advisor process)
  • Provides general event support within office as required
  • Business processing, processing client payments and movement of money
  • Performs basic reporting for management and team as required

What you will bring:


  • Postsecondary education preferred (business or office administration)
  • Operations or Sales Support related experience within Financial Services considered an asset
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of the sales process
  • Knowledge of general accounting practices
  • Skilled at building strong, collaborative relationships with multiple business partners across the region and country
  • Strong written, verbal and virtual communication skills
  • Techsavvy individual willing to learn new skills and programs
  • Strong passion for working in a high performance, facedpaced sales environment
  • Ability to work well within a diverse team environment as well as a strong ability to work well independently
  • Ability to succeed and work well under pressure and within strict deadlines; strong problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work well with different personality styles
  • Selfstarter who could be nimble and change direction when needed
  • The base salary for this position is between
    $37,000*:
  • $50,100** annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc).
