Budds' Automotive Group is now accepting resumes for the position of

Parts Department Manager for our Oakville Chevrolet/Cadillac location

Previous experience as a senior parts person, assistant parts manager or parts manager is preferred

PBS and GM experience is a definite asset

Must be process oriented, customer and team focused


Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Hiring, training, motivating, guiding and evaluating performance of parts department staff. Overseeing personnel to enhance image and customer satisfaction.
  • Keep well balanced stock, to fulfill the needs of the service department, wholesale and retail customers.
  • Controlling and adjust stock levels to minimize obsolescence, monitoring seasonal trends, special order parts and sales demand.
  • Oversee, conduct and reconcile annual physical inventory.
  • Utilize all of GM special purchase programs to achieve maximum rebates, ie CPP, Evergreen, Skidload etc.
  • Develop and maintain healthy relationships with wholesale customers ensuring their needs are being met and service levels are beyond expectations.
  • Meet and exceed objectives set by GM to maintain compliance of programs and thresholds ie RIM compliance, wholesale sales program etc.
  • Utilize inhouse (PBS) system replenishment orders for accumulating additional return reserve to offset wholesale returns.
  • Ensures that the parts stock turns over a set amount of times per year.
  • Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
  • Attends managers' meetings and performance meetings as required.
