Pest Control Technician (Full-time)

This is a career opportunity that can lead into a leadership position
We are a
locally owned social enterprise, specializing in pest control and junk removal for supportive housing. Experience in Pest Control, BC Driver's License (class 5), and a clean Driver's Abstract are required. We operate 7 days/week; overtime is not required but is available.

Benefits are available, 2 weeks of paid vacation, and access to the company vacation property in the Gulf Islands.

Full-Time Pest Control Technician Duties:

Inspect buildings and outside areas at regular intervals
Determine type of treatment required and provide estimate of cost to clients
Coach and counsel clients to prevent pest infestation
Inspect premises to identify infestation source, extent of damage, and access to infested locations
Study preliminary reports and diagrams of infested area and determine treatment type required to eliminate and prevent recurrence of infestation
Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

Pest Control Technician License
Experience in Pest Control
Valid Driver's License / Clean Driving Abstract
Ability to use a smartphone
Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service and time management skills
Will have to undergo a criminal background check
Ability to manage and work alone or as part of a team
