ID Love Lounge, a sister establishment to the popular ID Love restaurant in Toronto, is a vibrant and sophisticated dine-in venue that offers a delightful dining experience, delectable cocktails, and engaging entertainment.

Our menu includes lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, catering to a diverse clientele in a welcoming atmosphere. Our focus is on creating a unique and memorable experience for our guests, accompanied by impeccable service.

We are currently seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly motivated General Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of ID Love Lounge.

Roles and Responsibilities

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to ensure consistent service standards and efficient workflows.

Managing and leading the Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) teams, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations.

Collaborating with the culinary team to create and execute innovative menus for lunch, dinner, brunch, and late-night cocktails.

Ensuring compliance with municipal, provincial, and federal regulations related to food safety, alcohol service, and licensing.

Managing financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and community partners.

Working closely with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns and events.

Continuously analyzing and optimizing processes to improve efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The General Manager's performance will be evaluated based on the following KPIs:
Guest satisfaction scores and online review ratings.

Employee engagement and staff turnover rates.

Revenue growth and overall profitability.

Operational efficiency, including labor and inventory cost management.

Compliance with food safety and licensing regulations.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in hospitality management, preferably within a high-volume restaurant or lounge setting.

A strong background in food and beverage operations, with a deep understanding of current industry trends.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.

A commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, with a focus on service excellence.
