    Why This Role is Important:

    As Risk Analyst Credit Risk Strategy- Co-op, you will contribute to the overall success of the bank's Risk Management framework. This includes supporting the management of our credit risk models through analytical insights and decision making. The successful candidate should have a passion for statistics and data and doesn't shy away from asking difficult questions when tackling complex problems.     What You'll Do:

  • Extract, prepare and analyze data for risk modelling/strategy development, including ad-hoc tasks through use of SAS and SQL queries.
  • Brainstorm and potentially design new customer attributes and segmentations to help build more robust credit risk models.
  • Recommend improvements and quantify the benefits of enhancements to our IFRS9 model framework.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with cross functional teams, including Finance and Enterprise Risk Management, to achieve objectives.
  • What You Bring:

  • An academic focus in mathematics, statistics, business, or a quantitative discipline.
  • Hands on experience with programming languages such as SAS, SQL, or Python.
  • Expert in MS Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Power Automate considered an asset.
  • Attention to detail and ability to think outside the box.
  • Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize and independently execute assigned work.
  • Team player and result oriented.
