Role Overview


As a Business Development Manager in North America, you'll be the driving force behind our expansion in this new market.

You'll own the full sales cycle for Mid-market and Enterprise accounts, and work closely with the COO and CEO to navigate complex strategic deals.

This is your chance to make a real impact and shape the future of CorePlan in North America.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the North American market.
  • Own the full sales cycle of your patch of large Mid Tier and Enterprise Accounts in the Mining industry.
  • Be a trusted advisor with a deep understanding of customers' unique challenges & goals, articulating our compelling value proposition.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring an exceptional experience.
  • Strategically lead a defined set of accounts through the sales process to a successful close.
  • Represent CorePlan at industry events and conferences.

You'll be the voice of our customers, helping us understand their needs and challenges, and ensuring they get the most out of our platform.

  • Commercially savvy, able to navigate complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • A top performer with a history of success in past roles.
  • Passionate about creating raving fans among your customer base.
  • A prospecting master, capable of multithreading and creating your marketing funnel for expansion opportunities.
  • Adaptable in a highly changing environment.
  • Creative, resourceful, detailoriented, and wellorganized.
  • Committed to selfdevelopment and open to feedback.

  • Familiarity or experience with SaaS software and have passion for all things tech.
  • 4+ years of experience selling complex software deals to midmarket and/or enterprise customers
  • Understand the need for resilience is part of your week, and are happy to get stuck in.
  • Experience engaging with and selling to C-Level customers.
  • Proven ability to create demand, business needs, and compelling reasons for largescale account expansion.
  • Proven track record in hunting in greenfield spaces and/or expanding existing accounts.
  • You will have a humble, selfimprovement mindset with a love for being part of a high performing team that's not afraid to push the envelope.

Salary:
$100,000.00-$160,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Education:


  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:


  • B2B sales: 3 years (required)

Language:


  • English (preferred)
