Fer-Marc Equipment is in search of a Service Technician who would be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment, but not limited to Zamboni ice resurfacers, street sweepers, sewer cleaning & hydro-excavation trucks, refuse truck, asphalt maintenance equipment etc.

Job Duties:

Repair & Adjust mechanical components
Diagnose & repair defects in all equipment
Able to operate servicing & diagnostic equipment
Able to troubleshoot & diagnose electrical & hydraulic components
Able to repair cooling & lubrication systems
Inspect, repair & adjust gasoline, diesel, propane & naturalgas powered units
Test repaired equipment for proper performance
Clean, lubricate & perform other maintenance work
Driving Service Truck/Van to various location to perform inspections, maintenance and repairs onsite
Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations & compliances
Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents in a timely manor
Demonstrate effort to improve operations, streamline processes & work cooperatively & jointly to provide quality service
Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports. timecards and documentation
Maintain a working knowledge of changes in techniques and technology in the field
Other miscellaneous duties as required.

Requirements:

Journey person automotive or heavy duty equipment with 25 yest experience or equivalent work experience
Valid drivers license
Attention to detail with strong vales, ability to work in a high paced environment with a high physical demand
Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently & in a team environment
Strong internal drive to learn & develop future skill sets
Scheduling flexibility as field/roadworks is required
Steeltoe safety boots are required
