1.0 FTE contract Administration Assistant
Commencing January 2024 to January 2025
Reports to:
Executive Director
Position Summary:
Supporting a team of Physiotherapists and other Allied Health Professionals, the Administration Assistant is typically the first point of contact for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receives referrals electronically and schedules client appointments in accordance with program guidelines
- Reports statistical data related to the programs
- Maintain patient demographics by obtaining, recording and updating personal information
- Supporting the office environment by monitoring office supplies and equipment
- Provides administrative support to the team
Qualifications:
- Minimum oneyear experience in a receptionist or administrative role
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Proficient with EMR system and Microsoft Office
- Strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast pace work setting
- Excellent problemproblem solving skills
- Work well as a member of an interdisciplinary health care team
- Knowledge of, and adherence to Personal Health Information Privacy Act
Education:
- Post secondary diploma in Office Administration or equivalent education and experience
Experience:
- 12 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a medical setting
