Description
Hotel Ocho is looking for an executive chef.We are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated and qualified chef to assist in running our small Boutique Hotel Kitchen downtown Toronto.
We host 50-60 weddings each yearThe successful applicant will have previous experience in a supervisory role.
- Experience in food stations, plated dinner and canapés.
- Experience in banquets a must.
- Hands on food preparation and cooking.
- Creating new menus and work with the existing menu.
- Quality food production and food and labour cost management.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Ordering and monitoring supplies.
- Training and development of staff.
- Inventory management.
- Schedule, interviewing and hiring staff.
- Red Seal/ Food handler.
- Expect a yearly payment include bonus and tipout 70k75k
- Monthly sales target bonus and sales based tip out program.
Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
- Tips
