Description
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have at least 4 year of experience as a senior chef in a professional kitchen.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluent in English, written and verbal.
- Experience developing menu items and a portfolio of previous work and menus created.
- You must be able to perform calmly and efficiently during high volume periods.
- Must be able to work well with others, supervise, and train new staff.
- Must work well within a restaurant team culture
REQUIRED CHARACTERISTICS:

- Able to adapt in difficult situations and handle pressure.
- Can complete detailoriented work in a timely manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Post Secondary Culinary School is a requirement.
- Minimum 6 years in the industry working in a professional kitchen.
- Level 1 & 2 Food Safe Certificate
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to lift and carry up to 50lbs safely and must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to work in warm conditions around equipment that generate heat.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- 100% fluency in English language both written and spoken.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule including opening and closing shifts, weekends and holidays.
- A working stage is required as part of the interview process.
