Job Summary:

This role is all about striving for the successful achievement and completion of the purchasing team and Compass Group Canada goals and objectives (initiatives) as per the established key performance indicators and fiscal business plans.

Now, if you were to come on board as one of our
Category Finance Analysts (Purchasing), we'd ask you to do the following for us:

Provide analysis of product proposals and recommendations.
Perform price increase verification and provide updates on implementation
Support duties relating to contract management as assigned which may include management of pricing and updating data etc.
Maintain and correct errors in our inhouse supply chain system.
Provide invoicing support on a monthly basis to ensure all program value is captured.
Perform product management which includes managing listings on our Managed Order Guides and administrating product replacement implementations.
Identify opportunities of noncompliance and/or new projects.
Attend meetings and follow up (action plans, if applicable).
Be responsible for a small portfolio of categories and suppliers.

Here's how we'll know you are the best fit:

College diploma or university degree (or relevant experience) in a related field.
High level of competency in Microsoft Excel (vlookup & pivot tables) and data retrieval
Excellent analytical skills and take initiative to solve problems.
Able to calculate financial impact of product changes, conduct food cost and trend analysis.
Able to work in a fastpaced environment and demonstrate a balanced approach to handling stress.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong organizational skills.
