Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen.

As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our food offerings.

Duties:


  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
  • Assist with meal preparation by following recipes and portion control guidelines
  • Cook and plate dishes according to established standards and recipes
  • Ensure food is cooked to the appropriate temperature and meets food safety guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

Experience:


  • Previous experience in the food industry as a cook or prep cook is preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures

Pay:
$14.00-$15.00 per hour
