Afterschool Programs Details:

Our Afterschool programs run from September to June from

3:30pm-4:30 pm, 3:15pm to 4:45pm, 4:00pm - 5:00pm.
1 Hour session

We are hiring coaches/instructors for the following activities:

  • Chess
  • Arts
  • Robotics
  • 3D Design
  • Coding/Game Theory Instructor/Public /Speaking/Financial literacy ( Educational Programs
  • Environmental Sustainability

Specific Responsibilities:


  • Lead, supervise, and promote the safety of all participants
  • Building a strong relationship with school administration and faculty
  • Prepare lessons, and lesson plans according to the required curriculum
  • Teaching students using a variety of different techniques including discussions, visual demonstrations, guided discovery.
  • Nurture and develop all athletes potential skills and abilities
  • Evaluate students progress and discuss results with students,
  • Participate in staff meetings and required training
  • Motivate Students for success
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations
  • Additional duties as prescribed

Qualifications:


  • Experience working with children aged JK & SK) Gr. 1
  • NCCP Coaching certification (or equivalent) preferred
  • Background knowledge and experience in Basketball or other sports
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Standard First aid and CPR C
  • Strong communication skills


  • Bilingual

  • English/French an asset

Compensation:


Job Type:
Seasonal

Contract length: 4 months


Salary:
$40.00-$50.00 per day


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • English not required
  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
