Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Extrusion Operator to join our team. As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and mechanical knowledge.


Responsibilities:


  • Set up and operate extrusion machines according to specifications
  • Monitor the production process and make adjustments as needed
  • Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet standards
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during production
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency

Skills:


  • Experience with extrusion processes and machinery
  • Knowledge of basic math for measurements and calculations
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
  • Proficiency in quality inspection techniques
  • Ability to operate a forklift and handle materials in a warehouse setting

Salary:
$19.00-$27.75 per hour
