About CASA

CASA Mental Health is an established non-profit organization delivering holistic, culturally-safe wrap-around mental health services to Albertans and their families.

CASA provides mental health service to the missing middle - mental health treatment for diagnosed children and youth, in between prevention and promotion in primary and community care, and acute treatment in hospital.

CASA's team of mental health professionals are trauma experts committed to delivering service in collaboration with community partners.

This includes assessment and treatment for up to 4,000 children, youth and their families each year, from community outreach settings to intensive treatment programs.


About The Role

The Executive Assistant will:

  • Act as the first point of contact for executivelevel leadership.
  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for seniorlevel leadership, including managing multiple calendars, completing expense reports, composing and preparing confidential correspondence, compiling documents for travelrelated meetings, and arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries and agendas.
  • Communicate directly on behalf of seniorlevel clinical leadership and executive team programmatic initiatives.
  • Research, prioritize and follow up on incoming issues and concerns, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature in accordance with Freedom of Information and Privacy legislation.
  • Provide a bridge for smooth communication between the seniorlevel clinical team and internal departments.
  • Demonstrate leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with senior management staff.
  • Act with diplomacy and judgement to uphold CASA's values.
  • Work closely and effectively with seniorlevel clinical leadership to keep them wellinformed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, and following up appropriately.
  • Take initiative in keeping the executive team updated and aware of emerging issues.
  • Manage a variety of special projects, some of which may have organizational impact.
  • Complete critical aspects of deliverables with a handson approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters and memos, personal correspondence and other tasks that facilitate seniorlevel clinical leadership's ability to effectively lead.
  • Prioritize competing requirements and timelines to complete deliverables.
  • Plan, coordinate and ensure that the executive team's schedule is followed and respected.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of an office administration program.
  • Comprehensive prior experience in an office setting will be considered as an equivalency.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Visio.
  • High level of data entry accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize in a highvolume work environment.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and perform tasks accurately, and act as a collaborative member of the team.
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential materials and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
