General Description
Break Free Outreach Ministries is a Christ-centred organization that provides programs and support services to vulnerable citizens in the City of Regina.
We are looking for a full-time Fund Developer who is a high performing initiative-taker with excellent people skills, and a proven ability to inspire and motivate people toward our vision.
This position is the organization's lead fundraising and revenue generation employee who has experience in successfully fundraising in a Christian charity.
This is a full-time position and reports directly to the executive director.Key Responsibilities
- Obtain financial support and sponsorship for the organization's operations, programs, and services.
- Grow the number of community, business, church, and individual partnerships.
- Secure sponsorship for two annual fundraising events.
- Lead the organizing of events including marketing, ticket sales, etc.
- Ensure the organization and its events are promoted in community through various media platforms
- Facebook, Instagram, website, etc.
- Plan, write, and secure grant proposals.
- Recruit, schedule, and direct volunteers for the fundraising events.
- Keep donors and sponsors updated on organization activities through developing a quarterly newsletter as well as monthly update blasts.
- Stay up to date on fundraising trends.

Requirements:
- Agreement with Break Free's Statement of Faith and ability to promote our
- Demonstrate Break Free's Core Values in every action and every interaction with those we serve, community partners, donors, coworkers, sponsors, and volunteers.
- Knowledge and understanding of our Core Vision statement and the ability and desire to be part of the work to get us there.
- Certification in Fundraising, Diploma/degree in Business, or equivalent experience.
- Proven success in securing donations and event sponsorship.
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Proven collaborator
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Travel within Regina and surrounding area will be required.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and a reliable vehicle with adequate insurance to use it for work purposes.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada and be residing in Canada preferably Saskatchewan.
