Description
Overview of Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive roll off trucks, lugger trucks, and/or road tractors
- Transport goods and materials in Thunder Bay as well as Northwestern Ontario.
- Ensure safety and security of cargo
- Receive and relay information in a timely manner to Thunder Bay yard
- Oversee condition of vehicle, monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
- Inspect tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment as required to ensure working order
- Properly complete and maintain driver logbooks, bills of lading, and complete inspection reports (pretrip, enroute, posttrip).
Overview of Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Driver's License (Class A or D), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
