  • 1. Teach, coach and supervise nursing students in classroom, lab and clinical settings.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
  • Participate in the development, maintenance and revision of curriculum.
  • Participate in program, Campus, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, industry and professional or other stakeholder activities.
  • Travel will be required.- QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)

  • 1. Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or in a related field required.
  • Eligible for registration (active status) with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses' Association.
  • TLR Train the Trainer Certificate. This may be obtained following commencement.
  • Minimum of two years recent clinical/teaching experience in the area of medical-surgical and/or pediatric-obstetrical nursing.
  • Small group facilitation skills and leading, modelling and teaching interaction skills.
  • Ability to arrange, maintain and evaluate resources.
  • Effective communication skills (written and oral).
  • Effective interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrates valuing diversity.
  • Effective instructional ability.
  • Ability to work as a team member and foster teamwork
