In this role you will be a valued member of Dawson International Truck Centres, working in a
permanent, full-time position of
Parts Supervisor reporting to the Branch Manager.

The Parts Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the department runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. Your base location will be
Kamloops, BC.


WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Communicate with Branch Manager on progress of the department, customer service concerns and obtain approval on necessary requests
  • Share information with all parts staff about promotions and programs that are being offered in our 4 Locations
  • Work with other branches to maximize bulk buys, promotions and provide support as needed
  • Build and maintain current internal and external customer relationships for service and parts sales
  • Collaborate with Service Manager to increase turnaround times on parts requests, estimates to reduce downtime on service
  • Verify sales, inventory, and productivity reports
  • Work with the outside parts team to create a logistics delivery plan to coordinate parts deliveries to outlying communities
  • Increase Ecommerce sales and Business to Business accounts
  • Ensure site inspections, housekeeping and brand image standards are met
  • Scheduling of staff, mandatory International and Isuzu training and safety meetings

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Parts Person Red Seal
  • Three (3) years of related industry experience
  • Preferably one (1) three (3) years of supervisory experience
  • An equivalent combination of education and related industry experience may be considered
  • Well versed in Excede
  • Excellent communication and management skills
