Description
Costco Pharmacy in Richmond, BC (9151 Bridgeport Road) is looking to hire a Certified Pharmacy Assistant.Daily tasks and responsibilities include:
- Provide prompt and courteous patient service
- Take in prescriptions, gathering all necessary information
- Enter prescriptions accurately and in a timely manner with minimum supervision
- Package, label, and stock medications
- Compound mixtures and suspensions
- Answer phone calls and be able to troubleshoot problems
- Communicate with members, coworkers, health care professionals and suppliers
- Retrieve filled prescriptions and process register transactions
Qualifications:
- Education/Training: Completed a Pharmacy Diploma at a Community College or similar work related experience in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong communication skills required
- Knowledge of Kroll software (or other computer/data entry skills) is an asset
