Position Profile:
Marketing Admin / Support Person:
The Marketing Admin / Support Person plays an important role in helping the company to achieve its goals for continued growth and leadership by supporting the current Regional Sales Executives in our head office in the marketing and product sales development of a given geographical market for our icemelting products.
Educational Requirements:
- Some post secondary education (degree preferred)
- Some professional development training
Experience & Skill Requirements:
years sales experience
- Strong English communication skills, both written and oral.
- Excellent command of the English language. Ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong computer skills, (thorough knowledge of all OFFICE products a must)
- Knowledge of Adobe products (Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign)
- Knowledge of a CRM program would be a strong asset
- Knowledge of basic website updating would also be an asset
- Extremely well organized and structured work habits
- Ability to function in an organized yet unstructured environment. Must work well independently, as well as part of a team. Be a good multitasker.
Responsibilities:
The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
Work with our Sales Executives
- Participate in the production of Monthly Rep Updates / Newsletters using Adobe InDesign,
- Help our Sales Execs communicate with our sales agents/reps on a regular basis,
- Support the Sales Execs and their sales agent/reps in securing new prospects and new customer development,
- Help our Sales Execs create Opportunities to be passed along to sales agents/reps or handled independently.
- Assist in the strategizing of product marketing
- Assist in the research, creation, design and implementation of various promotion ideas and campaigns using your graphic skills.
- Analyze promotional ideas effectiveness and market impact
- Assist in the organization and preparation of our webbased training programs,
- Assist Sales Execs to carry out live training via the web, to our Sales Agents / Reps,
- Followup from the training efforts
- Assist in the organization and preparation of our trade show marketing plans
- Assist in the implementation of those trade show marketing plans
- Assist in the designing, creating and production of trade show handout materials
- Assist in the followup of the trade show prospect attendance
- Working with our sales execs, updating our CRM to ensure correctness and accuracy for marketing purposes.
- Producing marketing lists, tables, and spreadsheets for various marketing campaigns.
- Helping our sales reps in the field, understand how to use our CRM portal
- Assist in the gathering of information on our competitors,
- Assist in the development of "Selling Against It" strategies,
- Input information into our competitor database
- Provide information when necessary to our sales execs or their sales reps
- Assist in providing customers with price lists, marketing materials, and samples
- Provide customers with sales solutions for their DSR's (Distributor Sales Reps)
- Assist customers with preseason early bookings
- Help existing customers with their general sales needs
- Assist in entering the customer's booking or regular orders into our system,
- Ensuring the data supplied is correct and that our CRM database is correct
Salary:
$43,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
