Maternal Newborn

Qualifications:
- previous Ward Clerk experience essential. Must be capable of processing physician's orders and preparing and

maintaining certain components of patient's medical records.
- must be capable of preparing, recording and issuing Ontario Health Cards
- must be proficient at data entry, recent data entry experience with large data base.
- must be comfortable accessing and interacting with government data base.
- must have good knowledge of nursing unit's admitting and discharge procedures and the other clerical procedures

necessary to the smooth operation of the unit
- ability to work with a minimum of supervision
- knowledge of medical and obstetrical terminology
- knowledge of Maternal/Child Services provided in the Community and at the TBRHSC
- computer experience is required, including expertise with Word, Excel and MS Office
- previous experience with gathering and compiling stats


Salary Range:
$26.588 to 27.221
