Applications are invited for the position of Head Coach, Curling in the Athletics and Student Engagement Division, located at the Welland Campus.

The salary is $24.04/hr, for a 4 hour work week. Additional hours may be required as necessary.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Developing and implementing an annual training program that maximizes recruiting opportunities, optimizes training sessions, and prepares the student-athletes for success in OCAA competition
Providing appropriate physical and mental training programs
Supporting and monitoring studentathletes' academic progress
Developing a recruitment strategy, may include coordinating with local schools and clubs to run clinics
Supporting and acting in accordance with the strategic direction and initiatives as they relate to studentathlete support, general promotions, budget management, appropriate administrative responsibilities, and community/alumni relations
Leading the program in accordance with Niagara College, OCAA, and CCAA policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Degree or diploma or similar field of study
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant coaching experience, preferably at the head coach level

- "Train to Compete" Certification (or equivalent) or, on the National Coach Certification Program (NCCP) pathway

Previous coaching experience in the OCAA/CCAA, Ontario University Athletics (OUA)/USPORT and/or Elite Club level is considered an asset
