As a Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in both the maintaining and servicing of our concrete pumper units.
You will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing heavy-duty machinery, with a primary focus on ensuring the functionality and safety of our vehicles.
Additionally, you will provide technical expertise and support to our customers, assisting with diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and test mechanical components and systems in the manufacturing of concrete pumper trucks, following technical specifications and safety standards.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on manufacturing equipment, including engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical components.
- Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability of vehicles.
- Conduct preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment, including lubrication, fluid checks, and part replacements.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for vehicle modifications and upgrades.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, assisting with diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of customerowned concrete pumper trucks.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and address mechanical and electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repair logs, and parts inventory to support documentation and reporting requirements.
- Uphold safety protocols and procedures while working with heavy machinery and equipment, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA regulations.
- Stay informed about advancements in heavy equipment technology, industry trends, and best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Technical training in heavyduty mechanics or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a heavyduty mechanic in manufacturing and servicing heavy equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and electrical components.
- Experience with concrete pumper trucks or similar heavy equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to perform installations, repairs, and modifications.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail, with a focus on safety and quality.
- Must be able to travel in the US.

From $30.00 per hour
