Full Time Sales Associate

Are you passionate about animals? Are you comfortable actively assisting customers shopping in our store? Are you committed to present a positive shopping experience to our customers by promoting a clean, safe and hospitable store? Are you interested in helping local pets in need through partnerships with local shelters and rescues and our national donation drives?

At Pet Valu Innes, Orleans, we are committed to provide the best customer care to our pet lovers. We are looking for team members who have strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.


What you do:

  • Ensure strong levels of customer satisfaction by friendly and helpful interaction with our pet parents
  • As part of a team, participate in inventory management, merchandising, store maintenance
  • Assist in unloading weekly delivery of merchandise and putting into stock (items up to 55 lbs)
  • Cashier and Customer Sales and Service
  • Other duties and tasks as required.

What you bring:

  • Minimum one year experience in retail or customer service or other pet related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail
  • A friendly, positive, caring attitude
  • Flexibility to work as scheduled, which may include some weekends and evenings
