Details:
Part time, Days, 20 hours per week, 10:30AM to 6:30PM, 3-week rotating schedule

Schedule:

Week 1:
Friday, Wednesday

Week 2:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday

Week 3:
Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Pay Scale:
$ $23.10 per hour

Location:
Kiwanis Place Lodge, Street, Edmonton, AB, T5K 2A6

Typical Duties:

Kitchen duties include food preparation, portioning and labeling food, cleaning kitchen areas, dining areas, and equipment, dishwashing, preparing meals, beverages, sandwiches, salads and snacks, peeling and chopping vegetables.

Dining Room duties include:

greeting the residents, serving meals and beverages, setting and clearing tables, assisting residents at the buffet table as needed, assisting with meal attendance checks, and other site-specific duties as assigned.

Experience/Education Preferences:

Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal are required
Experience in food preparation is an asset
Experience as a server in a dining room is preferred

Other Requirements:

Strong customer service skills including the ability to interact with everyone in a respectful manner
Ability to read and follow standard recipes and work in a sanitary manner
Ability to demonstrate responsible judgement in problem solving
Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team

The successful applicant will be required to undergo a criminal records check and be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
