Project Estimator and Coordinator

is a construction company that has been in the industry for over 25 years providing General contracting specializing in Masonry & EIFS Stucco within the Greater Toronto Area.

We are hiring for a
Project Estimator and Coordinator.

  • Project estimator and coordinator's job description:_

Responsibilities

  • Assist with material orders and field operations to allow projects to remain on schedule
  • Prepare project schedules
  • Explore and learn new systems and provide pricing, data sheets or any specifications
  • Track and keep records of projects
  • Work with the foreman to ensure all safety and onsite records are updated
  • Assist with project progress and SOV for payments
  • Arrange and Schedule deliveries
  • Follow and inspect delivers
  • Understand and track time and material as per contracts

Requirements:


  • Construction Bachelor Degree/ Diploma/ Masters, Secondary School (required).
  • Project Coordination 1 year (preferred)
  • Experience in estimation (required)
  • Understanding construction blueprints and details
  • Understand and use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and AutoCAD
  • Ability to work efficiently alone and with others
  • Ability to track projects on preferred programs or tools.

Schedule:


  • Day shift (9 AM 5 PM) Contracts may influence work periods.

Salary:
$25.00-$40.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Concord, ON L4K 1C3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- construction estimating: 2 years (preferred)


Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (preferred)

Work Location:
Hybrid remote in Concord, ON L4K 1C3
