    You have:

    • Completion of post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field
    • At least 5 years experience specific to managing financial risk related to investments and cash flow
    • A minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory capacity
    • Successful completion and maintenance of an Accounting designation (CPA)
    • Thorough knowledge of Canadian generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for not-for-profit organizations
    • High computer proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and Microsoft Office suite of products
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills in a financial context to complete analysis and recommendations
    • Attention to detail and precision in financial analysis and reporting
    • Excellent organizational and planning skills
    • Strong relationship and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to lead and mentor staff
    • Strong oral and written communication skills, combined with demonstrated tact and diplomacy in order to liaise with executives and the Board of Directors

    Nice to have:

    • Knowledge of SAP
    • Supervisory experience in a union environment

    What you will do:

    • Liaise and cultivate strong working relationships with Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) and investment managers to prepare reports and analysis
    • Develop and implement internal procedures and strategies pertaining to the Corporation's cash flow and investment reporting
    • Monitor and analyze the interdependencies between investment performance and cash flow projections, making recommendations for adjustments as needed
    • Manage cash flow and investment modeling and provide in-depth analyses of the Corporation's short-term and long-term cash requirements
    • Evaluate reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis and prepare presentations for senior management and Boards of Directors, highlighting the financial impact on cash flow and investment performance, and key financial metrics
    • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of financial software or technology solutions for cash flow and investment financials
    • Review, validate and approve remuneration payments and expenses for members of the Board of Directors
    • Provide recommendations for amendments to board policies and processes
    • Create and support a positive environment of excellence in service, quality and people leadership
    • Develop and execute business and financial plans for the Branch and prepare annual budgets
