GFL Environmental is looking for AZ/DZ licensed drivers for our location based out of Ottawa.

We are an integrated environmental services company providing industrial, commercial, utilities, institutional, residential, and municipal customers with leading-edge solutions to a variety of environmental and waste-handling problems.

With more than 35 years in the industry, we developed extensive knowledge of the performance our clients need and expect.

On safety standards, we are industry leaders with the experience to offer cost-effective, highly professional service.

Combination units.
Power vacuum units,
Hydro excavation units.
Box trucks
Rolloff bin units
Highpressure water blasters.
Tractor trailers (AZ drivers)

Key Requirements:

Strong focus on health and safety.
Willingness to work in a 'Team' environment with a focus on customer service.
Possess a valid "AZ" or "DZ" driver's license with a clean Driver's and CVOR abstract.
Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience.
Ability to drive manual transmission units (8, 10, 13 speed).
Accept change and be adaptable to different work environments.
Ability to work an irregular work schedule (extended hours and variable shifts).
Ability to work in a confined space environment and/or at heights.
Being part of an On-call rotation (every 3 weeks)

Related Physical Requirements:

Common repetitive postures:
Sitting, standing, reaching, lifting bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, and crawling.
Working in all weather conditions for prolonged periods of time.

Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly

An Asset:
First Aid, Fall Protection/Working at Heights, and Confined Space training.

Mechanical knowledge.
