Major Areas of Responsibility Include:

Dissasembly and reassembly of damaged vehicles
Operates and uses all body shop equipment properly and safely
He or She will work alongside the Collision Repair Technicians to gain experience and a thorough understanding of the process of repairing vehicles
Demonstrates a strong understanding on how to properly sand vehicles
He or she can perform light body work on vehicles
Masks and protect parts that are not to be painted or coated
Maintains tools and keeps equipment clean and in a proper state of repair
Maintains and wears all required safety and health personal protective equipment, including respirator, in the manner recommended by the equipment manufacturer
Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials. Reports on any deviations to management
Cooperates and assists other personnel in the repair and prepping of vehicles
