For Recreation Program Leader Positions:


  • Assists with developing fun and engaging programs and activities for kids aged 512 years.
  • Provide direct supervision of children, and ensures their health, safety, and wellness.
  • May participate in the development of individual care plans for participants as needed.
  • Encourages and facilitates the participation of individuals in the program by creating a safe and fun atmosphere in which children can interact.
  • Maintains appropriate records and statistics and ensures that all required documentation is accurate and complete (e.g., incident reports, daily log sheets, attendances, etc.).
  • Adheres to BGCCVI Policies and Procedures, Community Care and Licensing Regulations, and other requirements and general safety standards.
  • Ensures that the facility is always safe and clean.
  • Other related duties as required.

For Supervisor Positions:


Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the design, implementation, and evaluation of a program schedule that includes ageappropriate activities for program participants that include all elements of BGCCVI Core Programming standards.
  • Ensure the program standards, guidelines, and policies of BGCCVI are upheld and all Community Care Licensing requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources for the recruitment, hiring and training of staff for your program.
  • Working with the billing coordinator to ensure appropriate paperwork is received and fees are collected for the program.

Qualifications:

  • Valid First Aid Certificate with CPR-C (or willingness to obtain within first 3 months of employment)
  • Class 4 Driver's license would be considered an asset (or willingness to obtain)
  • Successful completion of Agency screening process, including criminal record check to work with vulnerable population (must be at least 19 years of age)

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 2-40 per week

$17.85-$19.30 per hour
