Description

• Lead and supervise a team of carpenters on construction projects
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, and other materials
• Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, cabinets, and stairs
• Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and roofs
• Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and building codes
• Collaborate with other contractors and tradespeople to ensure smooth project execution
• Provide guidance and training to junior carpenters

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a carpenter in the construction industry
• Proficient in various carpentry techniques including roof construction, masonry, concrete forming, blueprint reading, drywall installation, flooring installation, electrical work, and general assembly
• Strong knowledge of building materials and tools
• Ability to accurately measure and cut materials to precise specifications
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate instructions and provide guidance to team members
