SUMMARY OF POSITION


The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for planning and managing the purchase of all materials required to meet the plants production schedules that satisfy customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company's productive capacity as well as managing inventory levels.

This is a cross-functional role that plays an important part in fostering relationships with each of our locations as well as with our vendors and partners.

This position works closely with Procurement, Logistics, and Plant Operations to ensure ePac maintains proper purchasing and shipping procedures.

Must be located within reasonable distance of the site. No relocation benefits will be offered for this role.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory:

  • Manage inventory levels in area of responsibility
  • Oversee monthly inventory physical counts and manages adjustments that follow
  • Track weekly consumption, inventory levels and backlogs, and determine purchase requirements
  • Receive and reviews sales orders against current requirements
  • Analyze ePac location's ordering patterns to develop strategies for cost savings

Transportation:

  • Communicate with ePac locations and warehouses about incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Manage all transportation from suppliers and to plants within area of responsibility
  • Coordinate delivery schedules with plants and warehouses

Procurement:

  • Place POs for items purchased in the area of responsibility
  • Ensures Material Rejections are created and submitted by ePac locations
  • Resolve discrepancies and/or issues as they occur during the purchase order cycle.

Other:

  • Understands and follows all quality and safety policies and procedures. Helps support the management team by communicating unsafe practices to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Works with customers, operators and product development for R&D and trials
  • Participates in weekly meetings with all ePac locations
  • Other projects as assigned

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Communication skills and proficiency
  • ERP experience is highly desirable (Microsoft Business Central)
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of quality
  • Selfstarter with solid organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to adjust in a fastpaced environment
  • Must be a team player and able to multitask
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented
  • Selfmotivated and innovative
  • Basic Accounting knowledge
  • Excellent spreadsheet skills with an understanding of database concepts

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management is preferred
  • Emphasis on Logistics or Procurement preferred
