Full time Veterinary Technician Wanted

We are open Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm (your hours would be 8-5). You would not have to work evenings or weekends.

AHT/VT Diploma (New grads welcome)

Excellent customer service skills

Solid communication skills

Generally positive, calm, confident demeanor

Confidence in your technical skills

Desire to build strong working relationships with your coworkers

Confidence and competence with handling cats and dogs, and the very occasional exotic

Compassion and patience for animals and humans alike

Healthy and established personal stress management skills

Ability to:
stand and walk around the hospital for an extended period of time to facilitate client care; sit for an extended period of time; lift objects up to 30lbs, such as office materials, patient files, and small animals

Comfortable working with business-related computer software

Strong attention to detail; excellent time management; and strong ability to multitask in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment


Pay:
$35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• French not required

Experience:

- veterinary technician: 1 year (preferred)
