    The successful candidate will be located in Vancouver and support several systems relating to the services provided by the firm and be responsible for the management and maintenance of the network and its components.

    While the role will be primarily working remotely, we also provide in-office hoteling spaces upon request. This role reports to the Manager, Network and Communications.

    Collaborating with the networking team on the development and delivery of data, voice and video systems across all Fasken offices, data centers and cloud environments.

    Optimizing and configuring MS Azure networking, firewalls, and management groups
    Assist in transforming the firm's networking and security architecture from on-premise to cloud-based (SD-WAN, SSE, FWaaS, ZTNA, CASB).

    Administer the design and maintenance of primary routers, firewalls, BGP network, OSPF network, perimeter safety devices and network monitoring systems.

    Manage DNS, SSL certificates, and network trust relationships.
    Configure conditional access policies and risk-based authentication policies
    Ensure adequate network and power redundancy is in place.
    Support various parties involved in the maintenance of network equipment and network security equipment.
    Participate in different operational activities on network platforms stemming from various projects, incidents and requests/inquiries.

    Monitor all of the design work and deliverables supplied by consultants under the incumbent's supervision relating to the projects and the main activities in progress, and review and approve the solutions.

    Keep current with trends and innovations in network technology.
    Serve as a subject matter expert in various IT projects.
    Draft and update relevant documentation, network diagrams, and guides.
    Collaboration with Managed Service providers for Enterprise and/or local solutions
    Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist/Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification or other similar certification or equivalent experience.
    Fortinet Certified Expert/Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification is an asset.
    Enterprise Network Architecture.

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in the definition, design, deployment and support of voice, video and data network systems.

    Proven experience in the deployment of concepts, computer security systems and high availability networks.

    Strong technical knowledge in network systems and services; LAN/WAN, switches and routing protocols, firewalls, VPN, wireless networks, DNS, DHCP, WAF, safety and monitoring devices and network access security.

    Experience in the configuration, management and monitoring of routers, switches, firewall and Wi-Fi.
    Experience in managing technology development projects.
    Experience in implementation of disaster and recovery plans.
    Experience in working with managed service providers for implementations, support and maintenance
