Description

The Andrology Lab Pathologist plays a crucial role in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of male reproductive health issues and infertility.

This role involves analyzing and interpreting various laboratory tests and procedures related to semen analysis, sperm quality, and male reproductive function.

The pathologist collaborates with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses and recommendations for patients seeking assistance with fertility concerns.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform microscopic examinations and evaluations of semen samples to assess sperm count, motility, morphology, and other relevant parameters.
  • Interpret test results and generate comprehensive reports for referring physicians and healthcare providers.
  • Collaborate with urologists, reproductive endocrinologists, and other specialists to determine appropriate treatment plans for patients.
  • Provide expert consultation on complex cases involving male infertility, genetic disorders, and reproductive health issues.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest research, technologies, and advancements in the field of andrology and reproductive medicine.
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to standardized protocols in the laboratory to maintain accurate and consistent results.
  • Participate in research projects, studies, and publications related to male reproductive health and infertility.

Qualifications:


  • Medical degree (MD) and CPSO certification in Anatomic Pathology required.
  • Specialization or fellowship training in andrology, reproductive medicine, or a related field.

Skills:

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 20 per week


Salary:
$7,000.00-$10,000.00 per month
