    Job Description

    The Multi-Store Events & Education Lead is a food enthusiast who passionately engages guests in Eataly's mission through events and educational programming. Reports to the Events & Education Manager. The Lead would support Events & Education operations at Eataly Sherway Gardens and Eataly Don Mills.

    • Plans, schedules and executes events – from set-up and tear-down to organizing graphics materials - including cooking classes, wine tastings, brand partnership events and other activations
    • Participates in organizing storewide events
    • Assists the Events & Education Manager with execution of on-site activations, tastings, and third-party vendor events
    • Assist Associate(s) in execution of classes and events, including set-up and tear-down, as needed
    • Facilitates communication between customers or clients, chefs, beverage managers and other relevant department members including ordering of product
    • Writes and monitors class descriptions; creates class registration pages online
    • Fosters accountability in departments and interdepartmental collaboration when planning events
    • Coordinates delivery of product for virtual events
    • Performs other duties as required or assigned

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 1-2 years of experience in restaurant operations, marketing or event planning
    • Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills
    • Outstanding professional communication and editorial skills
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
    • Knowledge of platforms like Eventbrite an asset

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
    • SmartServe Certification required
    • May be required to lift up to 20 pounds
    • Reliable transportation between multiple Eataly locations within the GTA
