WONDERING WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
Your role will require you to bring a high standard of scientific excellence to your daily work. These responsibilities will be in your domain.

Data management including the creation, manipulation, organization, storage, and quality control of spatial datasets.
Creating and updating cartographic products.
Conducting spatial analyses including developing, updating and executing spatial data models, including scripting, for a wide variety of disciplines.
Working as a member of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with your colleagues to maximize work productivity and quality.

THE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

Technical Diploma or Degree centered on GIS and Environmental Sciences.
5 or more years' consulting/engineering experience producing cartographic products, working with spatial data, and conducting spatial analyses and modelling.
Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop 10 and ArcGIS Pro (including Spatial Analyst and 3D Analyst)
Experience with ArcGIS Online, with Survey 123 and Collector, and with ArcGIS enterprise is an asset.
Experience with open source suite (i.e., QGIS, GRASS, and PostGIS) is an asset.
Knowledge of remote sensing techniques and experience working with CAD drawings is an asset.
Strong communication skills including the ability to recommend and describe complex GIS techniques and analytical methods to nontechnical staff.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, and excellence are key attributes.
