Description

This is a short term DBA requirement for 3 Months, with possibility of Extension:

Design and Build databases from business requirements
Develop innovation, strategies, processes, and best practices
Work with development team on database design to meet business requirements
Build and Configure SQL Server
Develop SQL Server HA solution (Always On architecture)
Develop SQL Server Backup and Recovery solution
SQL Server Database configuration management (Memory, CPU, storage)
SQL Server Performance Tuning
Create SQL Server Maintenance plans
Create and maintain /SQL Server Build documentation
Create and maintain SQL Server maintenance and sustainment documentation
Create escalation process and documentation
Manage SQL Server operations for all Client-Based Application in all environments
Create and maintain SQL Server reporting
Daily, Health, and Exception requirements

(project)Installing, configuration and upgrading of database servers

Planning storage requirements for the database system
Reviewing T-SQL code done by developers and proposes improvements
Reviewing system and programming designs to ensure efficient use of database resources
Controlling and monitoring user access to the database
Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database
Backing up and restoring databases
Contacting database vendor for technical support
Developing and testing database backup procedures
Identifying improvements to existing databases by determining users' information requirements and system performance and functional requirements
Writing complex scripts for data manipulation and management as well as report generation
Following all established procedures
Writing technical

Mandatory Experience:

- 5+ years SQL Server DBA skills on Windows platform

- Expertise with building HA solutions (AlwaysOn)
