The Role
Tribe has an immediate opening for an
Office Support Specialist to join our admin team in our Delta office.

This role is a great fit for someone who has a keen eye for details, loves deadlines, and values collaboration.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Retrieve, date stamp and sort incoming mail, including packages, by department and category and deliver mail to correct department/recipient
  • Prepare documents and other items for shipping; weigh mail and calculate correct postage
  • Mail sorting and postage meter machines and fill out mailing labels, including researching proper country codes for international mail and regional postal codes for domestic mail
  • Arrange pickup from postal service and other delivery vendors
  • Track packages and records arrival of mail
  • Maintain inventory of mailroom supplies
  • Scans all incoming invoices to beans and copy, collate and stuff all mailings that are required to go out (AGM's SGM's, General Correspondence)
  • Participate in general office administrative duties, including, but not limited to, reception relief, automated payables, scanning and verifying etc.
  • Communicate training needs and request necessary resources to ensure that the tools and knowledge needed to perform the role effectively are in place.

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary education in Office Administration or equivalent preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move boxes/packages weighing up to 25lbs
  • Prior experience in property management industry not required but a definite asset
  • Experience using Condo Manager, Yardi or Zoho not required but also an asset
