Role Summary


As a Hotel Belmont Vancouver MGallery Night Auditor, you will prepare a daily summary of the cash, check, and credit card activities that occurred during the day and conduct a review, as well as balance, the guest accounts.

Lastly, as a member of the Front Office team, you will represent the hotel throughout the guest's stay and ensure guest satisfaction is maintained from the moment the guest arrives until the guest departs.


Job Duties

  • Provide the highest quality of service to the guests at all times.
  • Efficiently check in and check out guests in a friendly and informative manner.
  • Promptly and effectively deal with guest challenges, concerns and requests.
  • Post guest charges and collect payments with Credit Card, Cash, Check, or Debit Card.
  • Verify entries of guest and nonguest accounts.
  • Balance all payment methods.
  • Monitor guest credit limitations.
  • Produce operational and managerial reports through the Night Audit process within the Property Management System.
  • Follow all cash handling procedures as required by management.
  • Know and uphold cancellation policies.
  • Become knowledgeable of Accor ALL Rewards program and promotions.
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel room types and their locations, room rates, and hotel amenities.
  • Maintain an inventory of room vacancies and room assignments when on shift.
  • Communicate with incoming staff and management by logging pertinent information in the pass on log. Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable.
  • Must wear proper uniform at all times in accordance with the Standards of Appearance.

Qualifications

  • Hospitality education an asset.
  • Previous hotelrelated experience preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with guests, hotel staff, and management in a professional manner.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Be able to move luggage or packages weighing up to 40lbs.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Job Types:

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
