- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver solutions to both new and existing customers
- Design and implement software solutions for turbine control systems and develop solutions that expand the product portfolio
- Conduct thorough testing and deployment of software applications and collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, control, aerospace, mechanical or instrumentation engineering with a solid understanding of gas turbine technology and engine operation
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in developing software solutions; proficiency in text-based programming languages (such as C, C++) and practical experience with PLC software and hardware interfaces (e.g., communication protocols and I/O modules) is an asset
- Technical skills: scripting tools (e.g., Visual Basic, Python), systems modeling tools (e.g., Matlab/Simulink), systems engineering techniques (QFD, V&V, risk management, RCA); experience designing and testing HMI screens for monitoring and control; algorithm development, verification and validation (experience with Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs is an asset); strong knowledge of communication protocols and functional safety

- Fluent in French and English; eligible for membership in the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec; excellent time management and communication skills. Join Our Team as a Gas Turbine Controls Application Software Development Engineer. We are seeking a talented Controls Software Engineer to collaborate with project teams in developing software solutions that ensure the safe and efficient operation of aeroderivative gas turbine engines and their auxiliary equipment. In this role, you will design, code, test, and deploy software for critical aspects of the turbine's control system, including startup, shutdown, fuel control, and monitoring.
