    *LOCATION: *Brampton, ON

    *REPORTING TO: *District Sales Manager

    Days of work – Monday to Friday (No weekends)

    As a Summer Route Sales Representative you are responsible for driving sales and achieving sales targets. The primary focus of this role is to build solid customer relationships, drive sales growth, and brand representation.

    Candidates must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a safety focus with a clean driving record, and demonstrate a passion for exceeding customer expectations.

    *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Managing a variety of assigned territories of small to large size customers, including National Accounts customers
    • Providing relief coverage for scheduled time away from work
    • Merchandising displays
    • Managing inventory levels to ensure customer is stocked and product is fresh at all times
    • Managing inventory; ensuring it is accurately maintained and reconciled on a daily basis
    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers with ongoing frequent communication
    • Selling and executing promotions, soliciting placement of incremental merchandising displays, and selling sufficient product inventory for customer volume demands.
    • Operating a Route Sales Truck and a handheld invoicing system
    • Loading of product pending warehouse location
    • Warehouse support activities
    *Competencies:
    • Secondary education (preferred)
    • Minimum of 1 year sales experience
    • Valid class G driver's license mandatory with a minimum of 3 years driving experience, with a safe and clean driving record
    • Superior interpersonal and customer service skills to effectively build relationships
    • Ability to understand customer needs and concerns and win their business
    • Demonstrated team-playing attitude
    • A self-starter, taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required
    • Exceptional time management skills
    • Patience and reliability, with the capability to navigate through traffic and road conditions
    *Working Conditions:
    • Driving a company vehicle to our accounts
    • Heavy lifting up to 50lbs
    • Working in all weather conditions
    • Travel may be involved depending on some assigned routes
