Contract Administrator

As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for all aspects of contract administration related to various projects across Canada.


Duties include:


  • Manage the tender process between contractors and clients including arrangement of prebid meetings, issuance of tender documents, addendums, tender summaries, etc.;
  • Manage CCDC contract documentation including issuance of CCDCs, supplemental instructions, proposed change notices, change orders, change directives, submittals, etc.;
  • Manage contract progress, including issuance of certificates for progress claims, substantial performance, holdback release, etc.;
  • Respond to requests for information and provide quick consultations, solving problems as they arise;
  • Coordinate service calls and manage reporting for roof leak service requests;
  • Liaise with contractors and clients;
  • Maintain records and filing systems;
  • Help with peer review of specifications and reports;
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Post-Secondary Education Degree/Diploma in Administration (or equivalent) or a combination of education and work experience;
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience with CCDC contract administration;
  • Familiarity with the various provincial lien legislations is considered an asset;
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office 365), familiarity with RoofCAD and GoldMine CRM is considered an asset;
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications is considered an asset;
  • Experience in the roofing, building envelope, and paving industries is considered an asset;
  • Meticulous attention to detail is critical;
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced & changing environment;
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills;
  • Proven track record of maintaining high quality standards while working within tight deadlines;
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal), judgement, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset.

Salary:
$60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
