***The Project Coordinator (PC) is a vital member of the Project Management team reporting directly to the Project Manager. This position is paramount to the department and company's efficiency and productivity. The PC assists the Project Manager(s) in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating construction projects of varying complexity according to schedule, specification, and budget. They also ensure a successful and consistent project delivery system. The PC is often the first line of contact for subtrades on items such as shop drawings and samples, which makes communication and positive relations crucial to the success of the project. The PC also handles many smaller projects, estimates, and service calls. Experience with Yardi and/or Procore is a bonus We are always landing new projects and managing more properties. Looking for someone that is eager to join a growing company, and up for the challenge


Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • Manage project activities throughout lifecycle, including the allocation of adequate resources, scheduling, documentation, budget, and other factors necessary for success.
  • Plan all project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and microdeliverables using the appropriate software tools and/or PM methods.
  • Manage maintenance & service calls.
  • Review and comment on shop drawings.
  • Manage clients, internal/ external contractors or trades and suppliers, ensuring that projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Observe that Work Safe Practices are being followed during site visits.
  • Maintain rapport with clients, serving as a point of contact between PMco and external resources.
  • Ensure all work is executed in accordance with the PMco Safety program reporting all risks and outcomes to appropriate management channels, and escalating issues.
  • Achieve successful and consistent project delivery while adhering to stands and best practices.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in relevant field
  • Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), considered an asset
  • 23 years of experience in project coordination, or equivalent.
  • Experience coordinating teams and clients
  • Strong negotiation, communication, time management, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and current driver's license.
