Position Overview
As an
Account Manager
, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers in the Burlington and GTHA market. You will be responsible for driving rental and equipment sales growth by identifying opportunities, building strategic relationships, and delivering consultative solutions that meet client needs.
We are looking for an ambitious and outgoing sales professional who thrives on prospecting, developing relationships, and closing deals. This role offers significant growth potential and a strong earnings opportunity for a motivated individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy focused on aerial lift rentals
- Prospect and secure new business within construction, industrial, and commercial sectors
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of accounts
- Conduct site visits to assess customer equipment needs and recommend appropriate solutions
- Prepare and present rental quotes, negotiate terms, and close sales
- Coordinate with operations to ensure equipment availability and delivery timelines
- Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline forecasts
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies
- Achieve or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Qualifications
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience (equipment rental, construction, or industrial sales preferred)
- Strong knowledge of aerial lift equipment is considered an asset
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with strong time management abilities
- Valid G driver's license and willingness to travel within assigned territory
