Description

Voyago is hiring School Bus Drivers urgently for our Dunrobin routes in the rural west end of Ottawa) #voyagoschools

Your role:

You are responsible for safely transporting what we call "the most precious cargo" to and from school
Ensure students' safety while boarding and exiting buses.
Be responsible for performing pre/post

- trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety.

Help fuel and maintain the cleanliness of the bus.

Requirements:

Your profile

You are safety focused
You hold a valid minimum full Ontario G class drivers license, Preference will be given to B class drivers.
You are 21 years of age or over.
You possess clean driving record and criminal record search with vulnerable sector screening
You have a sound knowledge of the Ottawa West region and surrounding areas
You have the ability to work independently
You are available for the required split shifts of 45 hours total, that could run: Monday
Friday between 6:30am 9:30am and 2pm 5pm.
You possess solid communication skills.

Your location

By joining the Voyago Student Transportation team in Ottawa West, you'll find

We offer a competitive hourly pay of $20.40 when driving passengers and $16.55 for other work.
You will be compensated for a 4 hour minimum daily split if you take the morning and afternoon for a full route.
Opportunities are available with charters for extra hours
The FT full comprehensive benefit package is available if you work 30+ hours or more per week
