Responsibilities:

Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and shape metal plates and sheets according to blueprints and specifications
Read and interpret blueprints to determine the dimensions and tolerances of the finished workpiece
Select and install appropriate tooling, dies, and punches for each job
Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as necessary
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:

Min. 5 years Press Brake and Laser machine set up experience (Bystronic preferred)
Blueprint reading, specification, and knowledge of engineered specified tolerances
Knowledge of tooling and maintenance
Excellent attention to detail
Proven measurement and mathematical conversion skills including tape measures, angle gauges and calipers
Ability to meet deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
Must be physically fit and able to work with mínimal supervision
Perform other duties as required
Ability to work independently and cooperate within a team
Ability to communicate well with others and be detailedoriented
Willing and able to adapt to high pace and highpressure work environment
